Logo design competition
A logo design concept I submitted for the “Townsville 150” logo design competition. My aim was to create an emblem that represents the vibrant appeal of Townsville, while also acknowledging the natural history of the region.
The design features prominent natural icons, Castle Hill, the Ross River and our famous sunshine, and a bright colour palette was used to highlight the tropical lifestyle.
My design made it to the final round, which was then decided by a public vote in the local Townsville Bulletin newspaper. The eventual winning entry can be viewed here.
